In case you are wondering, we got off the train... 8 hours later.
Amsterdam highlights:
-Finding out the hostel we were supposed to stay at was located in the Red Light district (did we accidentally book a brothel?)
-Heather getting lost on her bike during a bike ride. How she missed the turn, the world will never know... or she was just too slow to catch up.
-Kelly running into J.Burr's friends at the Van Gogh museum (who knew 18 year olds and 22 year olds were so cultured?)
-Meeting up with Staci Stringer!
-AMSTERDAM. enough said. Pretty sure we all want to go back. (UPDATE: Amsterdam is the Venice of the north... not Brugge like we previously said).
So now we are in Munich. Today we paid tribute to Staci and Devin's people and went to the concentration camp in Dachau. Definitely an experience.
Of course we ended our day at what some people refer to as "heaven" aka the Hofbräuhaus. We proceeded to act like Americans by playing king's cup at the table. Don't worry, we'll be there tomorrow decked out to celebrate the fourth. München doesn't know what's coming.
Best meal of the day: Hofbräuhaus.
Worst meal: What little we brought on the train while we were stranded... if we only knew.
Random moment: Ironic that our train was called "ICE", yet it felt like we were in a sauna?
Shout outs:
-Bay- how jealous are you that we are legally in Germany and you're not?
-Jennnnnnnna- we'll get the chocolate, don't worry... but where do we get it?
-Becky- love the updates and the commentary, keep them coming... to Heather
-Jan- thanks for the vegan restaurant recomendation... who knew Rick was down with the vegs?

Hello Hello!!! Trin...miss you lots! Looks like you guys are having an amazing time. I tried to leave you a little note asking who the poor travel mate who had to subcome to your torture and crude words. PS I would also just like to give you the pre-warning that the Stanislaus County Fair is not going to be the same without you! Give me a little shot out to know that you are alive and doing well...and that your 500 million pound backback hasn't crushed you! haha xoxo!
Considering I'm doing absolutely nothing with my life right now, I'd LOVE to move my Euro trip to July! Want to pay for my airfare? Sounds like you girls are having tons of fun! Eat lots of yummy food for me!
i fell behind! i don't read this for a few days and you all are already in a new country. i'm so proud. and if there was a stronger word than "jealous" for how i feel about you all being in germany (legally - thanks for pointing that out) and i'm not, that would pretty much sum up how i feel about this.
